Planting Cucumbers with Grama Nina

Planting cucumbers & canteloupe with Grama Nina

Kids Day and a trip to the Dentist!

We took the kids to the Auburn Kids Day event at Game Farm Park today. We met up with our friends and had a great time. We jumped, we played, we did crafts, and eventually got soaked!

Cooper just loved the Fire Trucks this year. He took off and this is where we found him..having a great time driving the truck.
Logan loves fire trucks too, he thought this was the coolest thing ever.Cooper wanted to get into the ambulance, but I thought it probably wasn't a good idea. It was only 5 minutes later that the down pour came and we were soaked through and through. We went home and made a picnic for all our friends on the living room floor.

Cooper had his annual Dentist appointment this afternoon. He did so good! We went to a new dentist and it was evident from the beginning that it was going to go better than last year. We got a tour of the office and Cooper took pictures of his teeth, got them cleaned and checked. It helped that they had a train that went around the office ceiling and a movie going right above his head. What a big boy he was! He was put into the "No Cavity Club" and got to pick a toy out of the box.

Sun Lakes!

For our first camping trip of the summer we packed up the kiddos and went to Sun Lakes in eastern Washington. On the day we arrived it was pouring down rain. Thankfully we hadn't set up our tent when we first arrived. Our first campsite was down hill and we would have been flooded. After the downpour we switched to a site across the road from Grama & Grampa Smith.
Cooper and Logan had a great time running back and forth across the road from our tent to the trailer. Logan loved riding his 3 wheeler without mommy telling him to get out of the road. Cooper liked hanging with Grama. The boys were so excited about sleeping in the tent, that getting to sleep the first night took awhile. We were up at 6 am every morning, then the boys would give Lexie, Brenna & Grama Pam a wake up call by riding their big wheel next to the trailer. One morning LJ, slept in until 7 or 8, Grama liked that. Once we got into the whole camping and playing the next day the boys crashed, literally, early and quick. But they always woke up happy and ready to eat! And Play Play Play.
We went to the park and went swimming, and we even went on a paddle boat ride.
The last full day we were there we found a better beach with a dock. It took awhile but I got the boys to swim with me and eventually jump off the dock.
Afterwards, we sat on the beach with Grampa Dave, and talked some smack back and forth. It was all in good fun and everyone was HAPPY!!!We had alot of fun playing and relaxing!
Except for those darn mosquitos, right Lex?

Cooper meets new Teacher

Today we went up to Chinook to meet Cooper's Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Coker. (Not sure if I spelled it right) Cooper had a chance to look around the room and sorta get an idea of what to expect next year. We had a quick hello and had a few questions answered before we had to go. I took the oppertunity to get a picture of Cooper and Ms. Coker together, as I'm sure I won't be able to get one on the 1st day of school.

Pre-K Graduation

After our visit to meet Cooper's new Teacher, going to the doctor and running a few pre-camping errands, we went to Game Farm Park for a picnic and Cooper's last ECE field trip.
After our lunch we had a graduation ceremony.Class of 2023
(did I do the math right?)After a quick ceremony, we loaded up the kiddos and left for Sun lakes.
