Graham Cracker House Play date

 We had a great time today letting the kiddos play and put their Graham Cracker houses together. Not quite sure how much of the candy actually made it onto their plates, but they had a great time.

 After school Cooper came home and made his house.

Stormy Snow!

We have only been in our new house for 3 days now and so far we've had power for half of the time.I'm glad we didn't have to move in this. My dad came to our rescue and brought us to his house so we could get warm. So what did the boys want to do??? Yep. Play in the cold snow.

 

 Logan loved making snow angels. Both the boys loved having a snow ball fight.

 Cooper is in there somewhere I promise.

 Later, we went to Grampa Jim and Grama Nina's house...which is right down the road from our new place.

 They have the best hill for sledding. It was a bigger hill than the one at the apartment which made it more fun for Cooper, but Logan wanted to only do half the hill.

Fire Station Visit

All summer I've been trying to think of some fun things to do. I've always wanted to tour a fire station with the boys. Sooo I called the Valley Regional Fire Authority to schedule a time and invited 11 of the boys' friends.

I was really impressed with the tour. It was very informational and educational for the kids. By that I mean they not only saw where the firefighters worked and lived, but learned fire safety.

The kids got to see how a fire fighter got ready for a fire,
and they were also taught what to expect when the see them
coming in the house to get them, so that they aren't afraid.
