The Man Store.

Saturday we took a trip to the Man Store. Okay so it should be named the man store. We went to Cabella's near Olympia. James is in his hey day here. So is Cooper. Logan just discovered how fun it could be for the first time. He really liked the aquarium and looking at the animals.
Cooper always runs right for the African animal display. Once there, I had no chance of getting him to stay still long enough for a picture. As you can see Logan could care less, he wanted to go back to the fishy's.
While James was looking around, and Cooper had enough of the African animals, Cooper and I spent 25 minutes riding the escalators up and down. One little girl asked if we were going to do this all day. I told her if he had his way we would. At one point, while I was talking to James, Cooper took off back to the escalators and before I could stop him he had pushed the emergency stop button on the down steps....I was so perturbed at that point I told James to hurry up. During Coopers time-out, completely screaming, a worker gave him a handful of coins for the shooting gallery. He thought that was pretty cool to have so much 'money'. After being at the store for nearly an hour, we went to leave and Cooper went out wailing, 'I don't want to go!!" Great. Next time dad can take him by himself, Logan and I will go elsewhere.

Playtime at the Park

Originally we had planned on going to the Supermall and let the kids play on the toys there. But once I stepped outside, I changed my mind and wanted to take the kids to the park. The weather was beautiful and it was Sunny and warm...Cooper, Nick, and Camyrn had a great time. Cooper climbed the wall without help for the first time and he went down the taller slide. Last summer he needed help and wouldn't go near the slides. Camyrn and Nick enjoyed climbing the volcano, while Cooper was trying to figure it out.
Speaking of climbing. My little man had his own adventures climbing and going down the slide. Once he figured out that mama would catch him, he would let go and propel himself down the slide. Smiling and giggling so hard that every now and then he would fly backwards and hit is head, but not enough to hurt himself.

Swimming @ the Federal Way Aquatic Center

Today Coopers class had it's fieldtrip at the Goodwill games pool in Federal Way. I had no idea what to expect as I've never been there. James really wanted to go to this one, he took a couple hours off of work and we had a great time as a family.

There was a pirate ship surrounded by the wade pool. It had the appearance like a beach. The pool itself was awesome. The kids walked into it, and it progressively got deeper. On the other side of the ship it was about 3.5 ft. deep and a bucket of water dumped in the pool every so often. Cooper loved waiting for it to dump on him.

I was really surprised that Cooper did so well. The last time we took him to the wade swim at the YMCA he totally freaked out. Today he didn't want to leave.

Logan was a little perturbed that he couldn't go swimming. Dr. said he had a little fluid in his ears that might possiblely turn into an ear infection. I didn't want to take any chances. Crabby baby with molars coming in is all I could handle at the moment.

We did however find a little ship for him to play in while Dad & Cooper were swimming. And he was content if he didn't see them out in the pool.

After swimming we went to McDonalds and had lunch. Logan was asleep in my arms for about 10 to 15 minutes while we ate. Grama Jeanenne and Aunty Freda met us there. After we ate, Grama went on the toys with Cooper. I wish I would have taken my camera in the restaurant.

I couldn't resist to take this picture last weekend of James and boys. The weather was perfect and everyone was happy. Too bad they all couldn't take a ride for real.

My little smarty pants...

Logan is getting too smart too fast...he loves the Shape-O toy. He'll put the pieces in and clap and scream for joy with each one. When all the pieces are in the ball, he gives 10 to whom ever is helping him. And then he wants to play again.

Yesterday was Logan's 15 month checkup, and boy is he growing. He's 30.5 inches tall (25% percentile for his age.) 22 pounds 7.8 ounces (25% again) and his head is 49cm (95%). What can I say we have kids with alot of brain space! He has also grown 3.5 molars in the last 2 months. He's also a little speed demon when it comes to getting across the room or sneaking out the front door if it's open. I miss my lil' 5 pound football.

I'm so thankful for Digital Camera's. I wouldn't know what to do with all the things Cooper brings home from school.

I like reality TV Bettter...

Because in 30 minutes you can meet a real estate agent, look at 20 houses, find the 1!, make an offer, have it inspected, & sign your life away. Just thought I'd throw that one in for thought.
