Field Day 2009

Here are some pictures of Cooper's last Field day as a Pre-Schooler! It was a very warm and beautiful morning full of fun games. Logan had a great time as well!

Happy 5th Birthday Cooper!

Cooper celebrated his birthday in many ways this year.The first was on the 24th with The Twiddy Family...We BBQ'd and Jehana made him a McQueen cake, which he thought was way cool! He got some really cool gifs from his aunts and uncles and of course Grama Nina spoiled him too! Thank you everyone!

On his Birthday, we celebrated with my family. Of course that was fun too! Especially since it landed on Memorial Day this year. We went to the park and played baseball, had a BBQ, and a water balloon fight. See Memorial Day post for pics.

On the day after his birthday we brought cupcakes to his class and sang to him there!

Memorial Day and Happy Birthday everyone!

Cooper's Birthday fell on Memorial Day this year, which made it a perfect day to celebrate everyone's birthday. As always we went to the park for some fun times.

Logan discovered baseball this summer and loves the idea of being able to hit the ball and play catch. Look at that concentration. Now if I could only get him to forget about his love of soccer. I see alot of rainy Saturday mornings in my future. At least with baseball they cancel the game when it rains.What a beautiful day for a water balloon fight! Brenna couldn't make them fast enough!

Kindergarten Round-up

I went to Kindergarten roundup tonight....... I can't believe my baby is going to be a Kindergartener next year, AND he's going to the same elementary I went to growing up. The school seemed so much smaller than I remembered it. I only got teary a little bit...Next month we'll meet his teacher, and I'll be sure to post pics.

Movie Day!

Cooper's class had movie day today. We went to the school and watched "Curious George". Camyrn was spending the day with us so she got to go too, and we even had popcorn and juice!

Northwest Trek

Today we went to Northwest Trek with the Smith Family. I decided to take the family picture first so that we would have happy boys, and I wouldn't have to hound them later. The first thing we did was take our tram ride. It was a 45 minute ride through the park where we were able to see Caribou, Bison, Rams, a moose, swans & ducks. Of course not only were my little men in heaven, but James loved the whole thing. Especially spotting deer and drooling over a large herd of dream elk. You know the kind with antlers that would be the honor of any proud hunter.

After our tram ride we were able to go on through the rest of the park on foot. It was fun to be in the woods and still see animals from a safe/fenced area. I thought it was better than the zoo. The boys would run up ahead to the next exhibit and on a rare occasion sit on a bench waiting for us. They were always in sight, just so excited to see everything the wanted to run. We stopped mid-way for a picnic lunch and then on to more animals. At the end of the day we went to a learning center and LJ posed next to his favorite animal.
Once again we had a great time as a family and with our friends. We will most definitely come back here again.

Paw Prints!

Jim and Jeannene have been doing some work out it their backyard this spring, and Cooper noticed that a big Dinosaur had left it's prints in the dirt. He was so excited that he had to show everyone! Of course Logan was totally excited about that! I kid you not, until that hole was fixed we had to go out the every time we went to visit Grama & Grampa Twiddy

Logan found James' ear protectors and decided to have a quiet breakfast this morning.

Zoo day and the missing tooth

We went to the zoo today. The Beluga whale was gone. Sad day. These are the only pics I'm posting, because how many times do you really need to hear about the zoo?

The real story is the missing tooth. Cooper had yet another tooth loose. All day we kept checking it and telling him that if he pulled out his tooth we'd get an icecream cone. After dinner we went to check again...it was gone. "Cooper, where's your tooth?" Without missing a beat... " I ate it."

Icecream it is. Tooth fairy dismissed from duty.
