Twiddy E.R. visit #2

Just an FYI..Sunday we took a trip to urgent care, this time for Cooper. Saturday he had taken a couple of tumbles to the ground and fell out of his bed and at some point hurt his left hand. On Sunday morning it was swollen and by 11:00 am it was starting to bruise. So, we took him to the Urgent Care, instead of the E.R. (which now in hindsight probably would have been better.) The Dr. there said it was just bruised, and he couldn't see any broken bones in the X-Ray. He said that he'd have a radiologist look at it and give me a call if there was something he missed. Well, last night, after the dr. offices were closed, Urgent care called back and said that there is a possiblity that there was a fracture beneath his thumb. So today, Tuesday!, ( his hand is still black & Blue and swollen) I took him to his primary care provider and they didn't get the x-rays from urgent care and they didn't want to do anymore x-rays, and she couldn't tell if it was broken. ERRRRRRRRRRRR! So now, the doctors office is going to refer him to a specialist....is it me? or is this getting rediculous. I'll keep everyone posted....
